Full Moon in Leo

Full moon | Leo | Feb 12, 2025

Woof this full moon is a tough one. There is a potential for aha moments, clarity, wounds around being seen and expressing your authentic self being revealed… and there is also a potential for a lot of drama.

If you want to see the chart and my full reading, as well as a sneak peak at some upcoming transits for March (like the upcoming Venus retrograde, Mercury retrograde, and eclipses), watch the full video below:

So this full moon is definitely stirring the pot. Not the easiest chart, if I’m honest.

With the Leo / Aquarius axis being illuminated, we are exploring themes around what makes us each unique, the ways we stand out or break the status quo, and the ways we take our authentic gifts and shine them into the world in order to be of service to the collective.

This is a major energetic theme of the year: understanding your own personal, authentic expression and having the courage to shine your light bright. The more each of us can be embodied in what we are authentically here to share, the more we will be seen, recognized, celebrated, and rewarded.

However, this full moon chart has it’s challenges.

The full moon is squared by Uranus, and the Sun is conjunct Mercury in the chart. With Uranus square the Sun and Mercury in Aquarius, this could indicate some kind of a shake up of our perspectives. A new insight, an aha moment, a strike of clarity, a download, a conversation… something we didn’t quite see is being illuminated.

With this being a square aspect, it might not be comfortable.

There could be many small moments of insight or clarity and there could be one bigger shift in perspective. It likely has something to do with challenging the way you see your role in the world, and having the courage to share and express that openly.

This square aspect has the potential to create drama (we know Leo can be a drama Queen/King). But it’s important to pick our battles, and to do the inner work to shift our internal perspectives, and to take the high road and shine our light bright.

For those with placements in late degrees of the fixed signs (Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio) this could be a particularly challenging full moon.

Wounds around being seen, self-expression, and recognition or validation could be surfacing for some people. Use this as an opportunity to explore the internal beliefs you hold, and to re-pattern and shake up any limiting stories that are holding you back.

Finally, we want to remember that the North Node is still conjunct Neptune (and will be all month and into March) in Pisces. This period of time is all about flow, surrender, trusting in a higher plan, tapping into our mystical and spiritual gifts, and letting go of control.

Wherever you are clinging to perfectionism, control, needing to know where it’s all going, judgement and criticism — will be illuminated. The work right now is to enjoy the magic without knowing where we are going. Trusting that it’s all part of a bigger plan our limited minds can’t see or understand.

Big love and full moon blessings,
