New Moon in Virgo

NEW MOON | VIRGO | SEPTEMBER 2, 2024

The new moon in Virgo comes in a 9:55pm EST, and brings with it a moment of pause, reflection, and integration.

Our cosmic energy for all of August has been quite disorienting, and quite disruptive, to say the least. Tons of squares (challenges), Mercury Retrograde, plenty of Uranus aspects to throw us curveballs, and Neptune aspects to add confusion to the chaos.

This new moon brings a welcome pause, a moment to gather our energies back in, and to center ourselves before we enter into eclipse season (yes, we are about to enter eclipse season).

The archetype of Virgo is a master of detail. The ultimate evolutionary path of Virgo is to master a craft, and to use the gifts of refinement, integrity, discipline, and detail to be of service.

With Virgo, our service stems from the work we do, day in and day out, to share our gifts with the world. Virgo is about the minutiae. Getting down to the nitty gritty, and making sure not a single thing is out of alignment.

This new moon is a reflection point: we’re bringing it all back together and making sure that every single one of our efforts is not going to waste. We’re clearing out the clutter, excavating the backend systems, dialling in the details, and making sure every small and large piece of the puzzle fits perfectly with the vision we’re here to create.

It’s a moment of pause to go back over everything and make sure nothing is out of place. We want to move forward with precision and clarity.

The ruler of the new moon is Mercury, still in his retrograde post-shadow, meaning we’re in the process of implementing and integrating all the lessons we’ve learned from him during his backward motion. This new moon is a moment to make sure we’re moving forward with all the insight we’ve gained perfectly applied to accomplish exactly what we’re meant to.

The new moon is also in opposition to lord Saturn, who wants to make sure the details of what we’re putting together are all in ultimate service to the big picture vision of the legacy we are here to leave. Saturn wants us to build things that last. With Saturn in Pisces in opposition to the new moon, we are asking ourselves what the furthest possible reaches of our dream look like — and how we can act on the smallest steps right in front of us to move toward it.

This is a time for practical magic.

Set your intentions with this new moon, but more importantly: send that email, make that plan, clear out your closet, deep clean your kitchen, and dial in your to do list. Get specific af about where you’re going, and the next moves you need to make to get you there.

Consolidate the lessons and chaos of the past month, and put it all into logical order. Leave the confusion behind, and move forward with specificity, clarity, direction, and ultimately, service.

At the same time as the new moon comes in, we have Venus transiting the South Node in Libra. Activating our past wounds and patterns in relationships, and acting as a test to see if you’ve ACTUALLY evolved past codependency… or if you’re still playing out the same script.

We’re in the final months of South Node in Libra, North Node in Aries. If you' haven’t yet addressed the core dynamics of codependency and stepped into radical sovereignty, it will become VERY apparent as Venus traverses the South Node.

If you want to take a deep dive in healing codependency and activating your sovereignty in relationships, my group program SOVEREIGN LOVE is starting very soon, and we have a couple spots left!
Find all the details here.

And as always, if you want to dive into your chart and how the current cosmic energy is affecting you personally, you can book a reading with me here.

Big love,
